Hello! My name is Amy Cameron, and I am an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Registered Midwife (RM).

 

As your private Lactation Consultant, I provide a comprehensive breastfeeding support service, to guide and help you feel confident breastfeeding. I can support you to overcome breastfeeding challenges you, or your baby, are experiencing.

 

Since 2016, I have been working with clients in homes and hospitals to achieve their breastfeeding goals, and parenting. And I plan on bringing this level of breastfeeding support to remote and rural areas of Australia, for women and families that may not be able to otherwise access this type of support. Breastfeeding support in remote areas may be bulk billed, or fees may be significantly reduced to enable access.

For families in other locations, technology brings my services to you so we can assess and plan your breastfeeding support via video calls, email, or texts; accessed by you in the comfort of your own home.

On a personal note, I am a mum of two amazing kids, a practicing midwife and lactation consultant. I am a breastfeeding, babywearing mumma; and have had different experiences with both, positively shaping my professional practice and personal insight. I spend my spare time adventuring with my family and playing with friends, photography, the beach and being creative. Our adventures are usually at the beach or camping, going for walks out bush, or getting messy! We are currently in Melbourne, planning our next big adventure!
